The
Rule of Annulation
Every type of scientific publication (working paper,
research report, internal journal, bulletin) has been reviewed
by the assembly of the Board of Science. However, the refutability
is never ending in every scientific community. The history of
science in our civilization told us much about it.
Every suspiciousness of scientific fallacies respect
to any publications in BFI can invite the assembly of the Board
of Science to re-review them. The result can be annulation by
respecting some of this terms:
- the originality of the paper; there should not be any plagiation
cases in BFI.
- the completeness of the paper regarding any references used
and the appropriateness of the references used in the paper.
A paper can be annulled by inadequate and improper references
or citated works.
- the tendency and the spirit of the paper; a paper must reflect
the genuinly the spirit of the will to know and any major
research theme brought by BFI. A paper can be annulled by
the fact that the paper is antagonistic to the spirit and
the theme brought by BFI.
- the misleading result concluded in the paper; a paper can
be annulled by the fact of misleading, wrong, and false conclusions
taken by the paper. This is done by checking the use of scientific
terms hold by BFI as a research university on complexity in
Indonesia.
The annulation can only be done by the assembly
of the Board of Science Bandung Fe Institute. However, it is a
long peer-reviewed needed to annulled a paper. Every decision
annulling a paper is not debateable. The reason of the annullation
is kept confidential in the institution of the Board of Science
and any annulation process can be done with or without any notification
to the author. The copyright of the paper once published but
eventually annulled is returned to the author by the consequences
that the paper is forbidden to be used in BFI circumstances. BFI
is not responsible to the use of an annulled paper outside BFI
circumstances.
